Fonecare is an independent service center for mobile phones, tablets and laptops when they turn out of Warranty. Fonecare is not authorised service center for Acer mobile phones. Any repairs at Fonecare is chargeble.

Service Jobsheet

The Customer will receive the service Jobsheet when the product is handed-over to Fonecare for repairs, and the contents are to be verified by the Customer.

green tick Repair Quotation

The repair price quoted at the time of accepting the device will be an estimate only, based on the information you have provided to us. It is possible that the price to repair the unit is higher than the estimated price. On these occasions you will be contacted via email or phone to authorize a new repair quotation.

green tick Minimum Charge

We really do not charge repair fee unless we're able to repair! All that you pay out is really a tiny feeas mentioned below, which is to cover engineers' time and any parts used to attempt to repair the unit:-

  • Rs.299/- for Smartphones
  • Rs.399/- for Iphones, Ipads
  • Rs.499/- for Laptops
  • Rs.299/- for Camera and Camcoader
  • Rs.499/- for Xbox

green tick Turnaround time

Repairs usually take 1-2 days from the date they arrive at our repair centre.

At times however, due to non- availability of critical spare parts or complicated fault, the repair turnaround time may take longer than the indicated time for delivery in the job sheet. Fonecare will not be responsible any loss/losses whatsoever in the event of delay for such aforementioned reasons.

green tick Non Repairable Device

If the product is not repairable due to major damage or non availibility of spares, Fonecare will return the product on as it is basis. Submitting the product for repairs does not guarantee that the product will be repaired.

During the repair process, there are chances that the product may go into a different working Condition as is case in any electronics repairs. Fonecare does not guarantee to return the product in the same working/ non working condition as it was while accepting the device

green tick Repair warranty

  • 15 Days Warranty for LCD Replacement (No Liquid Damage)
  • 7 Days Warranty for all other repairs
  • 7 Days Warranty for all Liquid Damage and Tempered device Repairs.

In the unlikely event your unit becomes faulty within the warranty period please bring the device back with a copy of the receipt or Jobsheet No. We will investigate and respond within 1 working days. If the problem is related to the initial repair, we will carry out a further repair free of charge and return at no cost. If the unit has further problems not related to original repair or parts not replaced in previous repair we will contact you and let you make a decision with regards to the cost. We will attempt a re-repair on your unit TWICE after the initial repair. If after this, the unit is still faulty we will issue a refund .We will need to see the unit and make sure its faulty prior to issuing a refund.

green tick Unpaid repairs

Units will be held for a maximum of 60 days after they are either repaired, deemed BER or requiring a requote. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you by phone and email a minimum of 3 times. If you have not made payment within 60 days, the unit will be auctioned to recover our costs.

green tick Defective Spare Parts

The defective parts replaced while undertaking the services shall not be returned to the customer.

Delivery

The customer must produce original job sheet at the time of delivery. Franchise reserves the right to refuse the delivery if the job sheet is lost or to give delivery only on submitting the proof to the satisfaction of Franchise regarding the lawful ownership of the product in question as also of the identity of the person claiming it.

Payments are to be made at the time of delivery of the device if the device is repaired. We prefer Cash payments for individuals. For corporate clients we also accept cheques. If an individual wants to pay in cheque, than the device will be delivered only after clearing of the cheque.

Please ensure you take a backup before submitting the device. We will do our utmost to retain any data on your unit, however we cannot be held responsible for lost data.

Liability

Franchise is not liable for any delays, non performance, failure or non-delivery of the products due to contingencies arising from any force majeure, acts of God such as storms, Earthquake etc.

By accepting the job sheet, it is deemed that the Customer agrees to all the terms and conditions mentioned in the job sheet.
